Aren Touchon, of Kasson, pauses from doing hockey drills at Soldiers Field Memorial Park to pose for a portrait and show off the frost on his face and hat on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, in Rochester. Temperatures hovered around zero degrees Thursday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The cold didn't get in the way of Touchon's plans to ice skate before going to work. "I saw that the sun was out and immediately thought, 'let's go to the rink,'" he said.
