Beth Napton, who teaches fourth grade, holds a sign that says "We Miss You" while taking part in a Lincoln Spirit Parade Wednesday, May 20, 2020, outside Lincoln K-8 School in Rochester. School staff lined the sidewalks outside the school as their students, who--like others across the country--have been distance learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and their families drove a circle around the school. "We miss our kids so much, and we know they miss us," said Mickey Laughland, who also teaches fourth grade. (Joe Ahlquist / [email protected])
