Herb Roe puts up Christmas lights Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, outside his house in Sioux Falls. Roe said he usually waits until after Thanksgiving, but figured "what the heck?" Roe said he was putting his lights up the on day after Halloween because he wanted to avoid doing it in the cold. "It's a great day to be out doing it," he said.
