Toilet Bowl Races

Kyle Hall, left, of Centerville, S.D., and his nephew, Justin Hall, 14, of Vermillion, S.D., race against Brad Holmberg, of Sioux Falls, and his brother, Brett Holmberg, of Centerville, S.D., in the men's doubles toilet bowl race during Tornado Days on Friday, July 3, 2015, in Centerville, S.D. The toilet bowl races in Centerville are put on by the American Legion and Wildlife Habitat and More (WHAM)--a local wildlife group that raises money for wildlife habitat--as a fundraiser, said Tim Austin, with WHAM. Centerville had toilet bowl races in the 70s, but they went away for a while, Austin explained. "Everyone asked, 'what happened to the toilet bowl races?'" Austin said.
